Community

We view the diversity of experiences and perspectives in our student body and alumni network as one of our program’s core assets. Join a connected network of hundreds of students and alumni positioned at key global organizations across sectors.

Current Students

25% of our students are the first in their families to go to college. 17% went to the UW for previous degrees.

Years Since Bachelor’s Degree

60% of our students completed their undergraduate programs in the past five years. 29% completed their undergraduate programs between 5 and 9 years ago, and 11% of our students completed their undergraduate programs over 10 years ago.

Alumni

Of our thousand-plus alumni, 865 are Digital Media graduates, 178 are Communities and Networks graduates, and 10 are graduates of our new Communication Leadership program.

Gender

19% of our students identify as men, 79% identify as women and 2% identify outside the binary.

Ethnicity

Our students have many diverse backgrounds, including two-thirds who are international.
