Jessica Partnow

Jessica Partnow is a nonprofit leader, educator, and award-winning international public radio journalist. She’s produced stories for NPR, KUOW, The World and many others. She received the 2014 Edward R. Murrow award for Audio Documentary for Generation Putin, a radio special about young people and political change in the former Soviet Union, and a 2015 Gracie Award for her reporting on humanitarian drug trafficking. She was the founding executive director of The Seattle Globalist, a nonprofit media organization dedicated to elevating diverse voices through media, and is now on the Globalist’s board of directors. Jessica was a lecturer in the UW Department of Communication’s undergraduate journalism program for ten years, where she taught radio and online journalism and directed an international reporting internship program. In 2019 she earned her MBA from UW Bothell with a focus on leadership, and she now works as a consultant specializing in leadership transitions for small and growing nonprofit organizations. Her secret superpower is finding four-leaf clovers: her lifetime finds easily number in the hundreds.
