Jason Levine

Senior Affiliate Instructor


Jason has been teaching at the University of Washington since 2012. He oversee the design and research studio across AWS’ entire IoT portfolio (Internet of Things), including the hybrid Edge solutions for automotive & mobility, robotics, consumer smart home products, industrial factory floor solutions, streaming devices, smart buildings & cities, digital twins, cloud connection services, sustainable energy, among others. He previously spent four years as Head of User Experience overseeing UX for four divisions that had a combined annual gross sales of $800M, overseeing all user research, product design and branding. From 2004-2014, he was Global UX Director at Ramp Group which included as Fortune 50 clients such as Microsoft, Stanford, T-Mobile, ABC, Trulia, and General Motors. Jason spent three years in London as the Creative Director for Virgin, managing a team for their consumer, business and wholesale travel websites. Before that, he spent several years in Los Angeles with the branding agency Siegel & Gale heading Information Architecture. Jason attended Cal State Northridge majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Computer Science, and has won several industry awards and US patents.
