Dylan Romero is a Principal Content Design Manager at Microsoft, where he leads a team of UX writers working on products and services ranging from Office to AI. He also co-leads Microsoft’s 250+ member Content Design Community, which focuses on creating opportunities for members to learn, innovate, and contribute to improvements in the quality, efficiency, and scale of content design at Microsoft.
Before Microsoft, Dylan wrote stories for award-winning video games and led marketing, branding, and design for Luna Sandals, a minimalist footwear company that distributes to 90+ countries around the world.
Dylan also developed and taught one of the first university-level content design courses in the country at his alma mater Seattle Pacific University, where he brought together English and Visual Communications students to learn more about UX writing, content strategy, and storytelling.
