A Visual Storyteller and an Interaction Designer who believes in simplifying lives through design. Devika grew up in a big joint family back in India, and her ability to easily connect with people and understand them comes from that. Owing to her diverse upbringing, she embraces all kinds of humans and tries to bring it to the designs she creates.
Devika did her bachelors in design, with majors in Fashion design and worked as a trend forecaster and graphic designer before pursuing her Master of Communication in Digital Media from the University of Washington. She considers herself a proud career changer.
Currently, Devika works as an Interaction design contractor in the Central Accessibility team at Google where she builds innovative and practical accessibility solutions for people with disabilities.
She is a big foodie and loves to experiment with new cuisine every once in a while. She is also a movie buff, and loves nothing more than watching a good movie with some cheesy fries and a glass of wine.
