Lara Bradshaw has worked as a storyteller throughout her career across the nonprofit and private sectors. She’s particularly interested in the implications of emerging technology as communities navigate massive changes in industries like media, technology, and higher education. Over the past ten years, Lara has developed program and communication strategies in a variety of settings, most recently through her work at Facebook and Redbox. Additionally, she developed executive communications and programming for Stephen Spielberg’s USC Shoah Foundation with a focus on new media technologies like augmented and virtual reality to tell powerful and groundbreaking stories of individuals impacted by genocide.
Lara received her PhD in Cinema and Media Studies from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts where she was an Annenberg Fellow. She wrote a dissertation on clutter and wellness culture, and has a strong affinity for the talk show format.
